I know this community is going to be biased on this but, someone close to me recently said I should stop wearing eyeliner and tone down my looks, because I’m 36 and it’s starting to look desperate and off-putting at my age… is it?

going to my first goth concert alone any advice?
hey so i’ll be going to sisters of mercy this saturday i’m pretty nervous because this is my first time i’m going to a concert alone since no one i know irl is into goth music it’s not a really large venue but i still feel a bit nervous any advice for this situation will be well appreciated 🙂

Ambient/Ethereal/Darkwave Albums?
Title! I love buying CDs and want to expand my collection, but my music knowledge isn't as vast as I'd like it to be, so any recommendations would help me know what to search for when I enter record stores 🙂
Like the title says, I'm looking for goth albums that have a more darkwave/ethereal/ambient sound! Some albums I like for reference are Cocteau Twins – Treasure, The Cure – Seventeen Seconds, and Black Tape For A Blue Girl – As One Flame Laid Bare By Desire. Anything helps!
